Overview

GenShelf provides free browser-based generators. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible while keeping the site reliable and sustainable.

Generator tools

QR codes, passwords, usernames, lorem ipsum, UUIDs, color palettes, hashtags, fake names, invoices, word counts, and UULE values are created in your browser. Those values are not uploaded to GenShelf for storage or “processing.”

Some tools remember settings on this device only:

• Theme preference (light/dark) in this browser’s local storage
• Invoice From details, optional logo, and currency under genshelf.invoice.senderDraft.v1 — clearable from the invoice form
• Palette share links encode colors in the URL itself; that is not a GenShelf account

Logs and hosting

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically receive standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We use this only for security, reliability, and basic traffic understanding.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies or similar technologies for essential site function (for example remembering your theme preference) and for advertising.

GenShelf uses Google AdSense to show ads that help keep the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and personalize ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. Third parties may collect and process data under their own policies.
